Ryan Hope Travis
Ryan Hope Travis is an actor, director, filmmaker, and artistic innovator based in Florida. His body of work spans from independent film creation to regional theater performance. He is the founder and lead filmmaker of Arcable, a film production house dedicated to producing works of art rooted in social commentary.
Ryan is the 2013 Individual Artist Commission Recipient from the New York State Council on the Arts. The commissioned work entitled, "A Shout In Salty Water," is derived from interviews with 17-low income fathers from Syracuse, NY.

Ryan has written and performed "June 16" and "A Shout In Salty Water," a collection of one-man shows he calls, The Father/Son Play Cycle.

Ryan is an assistant professor of acting at the Florida State University, and has taught acting and creative writing courses at Syracuse University, the University of Florida, Colgate University, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges, among others. He has also taught at the Tasha Smith Actors Workshop and the Theatre of Arts College for the Contemporary Actor in Los Angeles.
